The Canada Day fun carries on at St. Alban’s, where there will be a BBQ (1/2 chicken!), music by Caitlin Claessens, and some truly great fireworks at dusk. Everyone is welcome, this is a Glen Williams community event!
Tickets for the BBQ are $15 for adults, $8 for children 5-10, and children under 5 are free. You can eat indoors in the hall, or picnic-style by the river. Bring your own chair and insect repellent, and a sweater as temperatures by the river cool down at dusk.
Starting at 7:30PM, YouTube star and local performer Caitlin Claessens (Caitlin for Kids) will perform music for the tall and the small at St. Alban’s Church, before the fireworks.
St. Alban’s is fundraising by selling for raffle prizes, and the winners will be announced at 8PM:
1st Prize: “Canada 150” Hand Made Quilt
2nd Prize: $100.00 Canadian Tire Card
3rd Prize: “Canada 150” Fleece Blanket
4th Prize: 2 doz. Homemade Butter Tarts
It’s not too late to buy tickets ($2/ticket or 3 for $5), contact Fioretta at 905-873-6765.
Fireworks start after the draw and as soon as it’s dark. Don’t miss them, they are impressive. Donations will gratefully be accepted to help cover the cost of the fireworks.
Have a great Canada Day and see you at St. Alban’s (537 Main St, Halton Hills, ON L0P 1H0) starting at 6:30PM.
